How to know a piece of fabric?

Woolen vs Worsted wool
Woolen and worsted in the wool fabric category (the fabric composition contains wool fiber). Woolen and worsted are in different sizes/weights of wool yarn. Whereas worsted yarn is thinner and lighter than woolen one. Here I’d like to say more about the difference which actually goes through in the whole manufacturing process. Woolen fiber basically means the individual fiber of varying lengths is going in many different directions. Also overlapping each other at varying angles and leaving air space between each other. The wool fiber or wool mixed fiber is carded. However, the fiber is roughly brushed back and forth to remove the foreign substance. And it breaks up the separate locks of wool. Then blends short fiber and longer fiber, and mix different fibers. Worsted fiber means that the individual fiber is roughly in the same length and is going through parallelly to each other.
And then leaving no space between each other. So high-class fine wool fiber or wool mixed fiber is combed with wool combs. The fiber is traditionally done with longer fine wool. So that any short ones are removed. And then leaving all the left fibers roughly in the same length and in parallel. When worsted fiber is spun together after being combed, its yarn is strong and smooth. Also softer than woolen yarn after carded. Combed worsted yarn is superior to carded woolen yarn in strength. Also in pilling and other aspects. However, the cost of carded woolen yarn is lower. The delivery is faster, so there is also a large demand for woolen fabric in the market. The worsted wool fabric is smooth and clean with a clear texture and is lightweight. The color is pure and natural, Soft and elastic to the touch. Also, it is wrinkle-resistant.
