Flannel fleece uses polyester fibers that come from plastics. Then goes through a process of turning into a thread. After that yarn is then knit to greige, dye to fabric. Flannel fleece has a smooth touch and plush look. Also repels water better and has a shiny look. Therefore the best of this item is at the lowest cost. But achieves good performance in keeping warm. Polyester is one of the most widely used man-made/synthetic fibers. Polyester has two types: PET (polyethylene terephthalate) and PCDT( poly-1,4-cyclohexylene terephthalate). Its performance as PET is stronger while PCDT is more elastic /resilient. PED is more often used in the textile industry which is normally combined with natural fiber.
