7-Step Process we use to make Woolen plaid in our factory!
01. Firstly, customers confirm give us a concept of fabric quality – composition, thickness, weight, hand-feel, surface style, etc, or directly choose one of our fabrics as a quality base.
02. Secondly, the designer will provide a CAD to us which mark clearly a pattern, color, repeat size, etc.
03. Thirdly, we will check if we can do the CAD artwork or not, due to the weaving craft or nature of the yarn, etc, sometime we need to adjust the CAD with designers, again and again, to make the handloom doable.
Our original handloom size is 20*40cm, now update to a bigger size of 38*98cm. 2 or 3pieces of bigger size handlooms can make a garment sample which saves a lot of cost for the customer. This is the most important step, also the difficult step to make the design into reality.
04. Fourth, Make a sample roll (around 50m) before bulk to finalized the bulk standard.
05. Fifth, Starting the bulk, purchasing raw material, spinning, yarn dyeing, weaving, and finishing.
06. Sixth, Propose the shipping sample and follow the shipping sample to make all bulk.
07. Finally, Make an inspection and ship the bulk out.
